At Eve Power Psychology, we are dedicated to supporting individuals across all stages of life. Led by Eve Power, a registered psychologist with an area of practice endorsement in educational and developmental psychology, our practice offers compassionate, evidence-based care designed to help you overcome challenges, embrace personal growth, and live a fulfilling life.
With over 15 years of professional experience, Eve has supported clients ranging from preschool-aged children through to older adults. Her career has spanned both educational and clinical settings, equipping her with the skills and insights to address a wide variety of psychological needs. Whether it’s helping a child navigate learning difficulties or supporting an adult through complex emotional struggles, Eve is committed to providing tailored, effective therapy.

Eve Power has a particular passion for helping clients affected by eating disorders, body image issues, and disordered eating patterns. She has completed extensive, specialised training in this area, including:
CBT-E (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders)
FBT (Family-Based Therapy)
Schema Therapy for Eating Disorders
SSCM (Specialist Supportive Clinical Management)
As a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC – Mental Health), Eve adheres to best practice guidelines, engages in regular professional training, and participates in ongoing supervision. She works closely with each client’s Care Team to ensure holistic, coordinated support for adolescents and adults.
Eve’s primary therapeutic approach is Schema Therapy – a highly effective method that helps clients identify and change negative thought patterns and relationship behaviours. By combining principles from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and attachment theory, Schema Therapy provides a deep understanding of how past experiences shape present actions and emotions.
This approach empowers clients to break free from self-defeating cycles, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
While Schema Therapy is Eve’s main focus, her diverse training allows her to integrate other therapeutic techniques when needed. These include:
CBT – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
DBT – Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing
EFT – Emotionally Focused Therapy
This flexible, personalised approach ensures that therapy is adapted to your unique needs and goals.
In addition to her clinical work, Eve Power is a board-approved supervisor. She is passionate about guiding psychology students and early-career psychologists, offering mentorship and professional development throughout their university training and beyond.
